As always with Spurs, it has been a season of ups and downs, managerial change and a feeling of underachievement. We did it! That’s right. Broke the old home defence record. So in a season where we had one of our worst starts in the history of this football club, we also managed to concede the least amount of goals at WHL- ever. It is quite fitting that, in a season of inconsistencies, we can create such a paradoxical truth.

We currently have the tightest home defence in the league. No mean feat. But oddly, we have scored 13 more goals away from home than at the Lane. This paints the picture of WHL as a fortress this season, a resolute beacon of defensive stability and hard fought 1-0 victories. Teams have come and often been conquered.
